Two Georgia men, William Zulock (34) and Zachary Zulock (36), have been sentenced to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole after being convicted of heinous acts against their two adopted sons. The couple, once considered influential figures in Georgia’s LGBTQ community, turned their suburban home into a house of horrors.

Between 2019 and 2021, the Zulocks were found guilty of sexually abusing their young sons, whom they adopted in 2018 at the ages of three and five. The shocking abuse included sodomy, forcing the boys to perform sexual acts, and recording the disturbing acts on video to distribute to other pedophiles. The depth of their crimes prompted District Attorney Randy McGinley to describe the case as one involving “unimaginable depravity.”

Investigators uncovered more than seven terabytes of digital evidence, including home surveillance footage clearly showing the abuse. Alarming messages from Zulock had also been sent to other pedophiles, offering the children and detailed plans for further abuse.

The couple was able to adopt the boys despite previous allegations of sexual misconduct against Zachary Zulock in 2011, which had not been thoroughly investigated at the time. Even more disturbingly, they attempted to adopt another child, a two-year-old girl, just a year before their arrest.

The investigation began in 2022 after authorities received a tip regarding child sexual abuse material linked to a local IP address. The Zulocks’ residence, an affluent home valued at approximately $900,000, revealed a stark contrast to the reality of the horror within its walls.

The two other individuals linked to this case, Hunter Lawless and Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez, also faced severe punishments for their roles in child abuse and possession of illegal materials.

This case has sparked outrage and raised critical questions about the vetting process for adoptions, highlighting the urgent need for reforms to prevent such cases in the future. While the young victims, now aged 10 and 12, continue their path to recovery, this sentencing ensures that the perpetrators will spend their lives behind bars.
